Custom Deck
With their new 900 square foot wraparound deck, our clients have plenty of space to lounge, dine al fresco, and watch the sunset. The Azek deck material, made of 100% PVC, is extremely durable and resistant to weather damage. The design features contrasting grey boards and brown perimeter boards, as well as an aluminum and glass railing for a modern look. Two stairways make for easy deck access, both of which have aluminum picket railings.

Updated Kitchen
Rather than replacing the whole kitchen, the owners wanted to redesign certain features to better meet their needs. Most of the original cabinets were left intact, with some modifications to make room for a coffee pantry, pull out garbage, recycling cupboards, and new appliances. For an updated and contemporary look, we refinished the existing oak floors with a darker stain, installed a quartz countertop, and added a subway tile backsplash.

Outdoor Living Space
To create a visually appealing and functional outdoor space, we first removed the existing structure and its dilapidated corrugated roof panels. The new structure is made of 6 x 12 beams, burned with a torch to emphasize the wood grain and sealed with a penofin sealer that adds color vibrancy to the wood. The vaulted ceiling features tongue and groove cedar finished with a high gloss spar varnish, a skylight, a wooden fan, can lighting, and scissor trusses.

Cover for Existing Deck
In order to entertain rain or shine and protect the outdoor furniture, our clients needed to add a cover to their existing deck. The new cover is tied into the house and includes a stick framed roof made of 2 x 12 boards, as well as a skylight to bring in more natural light. We also installed an outdoor television, so they can watch the game or host a game day party outside.
